Write Off $500,000 in Capital Equipment in 2011

2011 Capital Expenditures Credit Ending Soon

The Small Business Jobs and Credit Act of 2010 gives bakery owners incentive to purchase new portioning equipment before the end of 2011 by allowing the purchaser to write off investments of capital equipment immediately, up to $500,000, rather than depreciating the expense slowly over many years.

The equipment must be purchased and installed in 2011. FoodTools is working hard to provide bakers with in stock equipment that can be delivered and installed before the deadline in order to qualify for the purchase credit.

The exact qualifications can be found on the Section 179 Deduction website here: http://www.section179.org/section_179_deduction.html
